Conoscendo il sito della FIR ritengo si tratti di un errore: da quel che sono io anche Veronica e' stata convocata , solo che e' stato erroneamente inserito in nome della sorella per 2 volte.A sorpresa doppia convocazione per Valentina Schiavon, mentre Veronica viene esclusa dalla nazionale.

Infatti... dopo un pò di navigazione su Internet è confermato che la Brannon gioca nelle Saints (club di prima divisione inglese). Report:
After tough trials, bringing many talented players from around the East Region, a squad of 35 were picked to represent their region for the 2006 season. After just one training session of the girls being together the managers & coaches had the tough decision of picking their first 22 to run out against Southeast Region to begin the start of the regional calendar for East Region. With a brand new kit the ladies ran out ready to take on the opposition & represent their Region to the best of their ability.
From kick off, we knew the match was not going to be a walkover. The opposition were determined to stay up in our faces, and we unfortunately spent the first 10 minutes in our own half. However, the ladies were not going to let anything through & kept their defence line tight & fought off everything Southeast had to offer. After just 8 minutes we had the first injury, sadly losing our scrum half Nicky Cameron to an ankle injury. Becky Ellis came on to replace her, and was determined from the off to continue the effort put in by Nicky.
In the first 10 minutes Southeast had a chance of a penalty kick in front of the posts, but missed. East immediately came back raising their game determined to get back into Southeast’s half. In the 26th minute their efforts paid off with a combine effort of moves from the forwards and backs moving the ball up the pitch culminating in the forwards powering the ball over the line to score. The try was scored by Nadia Brannon of OA Saints, but unfortunately the conversion was not to happen. After 17 scrums of which East won 11, 11 line outs & some injury time the final score at half time was 5-0 to East Region.
East came off at half time not feeling complacent that they were in the lead. It could be so easily taken away from them, and no one was prepared for that to happen. East went out in the 2nd half determined to keep the pace of play up, and put some more points on the board. With Charlie West on to replace Jennifer Sothman, and Sarah Stimpson on to replace Jenny Lee, the team went back out ready for more of what South East had to give them. Unfortunately just 8 minutes into the 2nd half South East came back with a try to level the points, missing the conversion.
It seemed this could go right down to the last point. In the 15th minute another blow to East Region occurred when Chloe Van Dop, Captain, was Sin Binned for playing the ball on the floor. This was looking bad for East, as it meant the pack were short by 1 flanker and there was the potential for the game to be turned on us. Then Southeast had a penalty in front of the posts, and this time they scored. East were now down 8-5 with the captain in the Sin Bin for a small error. The girls were determined not to let this happen, and whilst Chloe was still in the Sin Bin, East scored another try by Becky Ellis, replacement scrum half who broke through 3 or 4 of their players to dive over the line after a 30 yard run.
It was looking up again for East Region. The score was now 10-8, and just 15 minutes left to play. It was vital that east held their line. With more replacements, Esther Jones replacing Nadia Brannon, Tracey lee replacing Lara-Simone Ryan, and Rachel Glanville on for Chloe Allcorn. In the 30th minute, East showed Southeast just what they were made of with a rolling maul executed with detailed precision which ran for 40 yards. They were not going to give up this game. They would fight to retain this win down to the dieing seconds.
Last play of the match, and it was a scrum for Southeast. Southeast won the scrum and started shipping the ball down the line to the wing. East defended superbly. The final whistle blew and East cheered and shouted, hugging each other. Their first win under their belts they now look forward to their York’s Region fixture in just 2 weeks. They've made their mark & are ready to go again.

Caro o cara cicca gradirei da parte tua che valutassi attentamente ciò che avviene all'interno di questo forum ! Ciò che è accaduto qualche giorno fà è un vero sinonimo di arroganza..... Come puoi pensare che una giocatrice di rugby candidata al titolo di miglior giocatrice dell'anno possa amministrare un forum?
La nostra cara MT ha decisamente varcato ogni limiteeee.... Tanto ha fatto che ha segnalato a te o chi di dovere le espressioni poco consone (giustamente) espresse da plutox77 (CHE SAREI IO) per raggiungere il suo obbiettivo cioè quello di eliminare o cmq di penalizzare la Orru' che, con i suoi voti andava ad insidiare le prime posizioni!!!!!! Tutto questo è vergognoso.....

Roma – I CT Cococcetta e Granatelli hanno reso nota la lista delle convocate in vista del 2° turno del 6 Nazioni contro l’Inghilterra che si giocherà a Twickenham (Londra), sabato 10 febbraio alle ore 15.30 (ora locale – 16.30 in Italia), subito dopo l’incontro della Nazionale maschile. Tutte confermate le 22 Azzurre che hanno preso parte al raduno per il match di esordio con la Francia.
Le ragazze della palla ovale si ritroveranno il giorno 8 febbraio presso l’impianto Sportivo G. Onesti Acqua Acetosa a Roma, dove svolgeranno il primo allenamento alle ore 14.30. La partenza per la capitale inglese avverrà venerdì 9 febbraio dall’aeroporto di Fiumicino, con il volo Alitalia delle 7.50 (AZ 200 RM), con arrivo previsto ad Heatrow alle ore 9.40. Di qui il trasferimento presso l’hotel Ibis Earls Court, Lillie Road, 47 (Tel. 0044 207 6100880). Nel primo pomeriggio le Azzurre svolgeranno una seduta di allenamento presso l’impianto del Rosslyn Park RFC dalle ore 13.30 alle ore 15.00 (ora locale).

Roma – I CT Cococcetta e Granatelli hanno reso nota la lista delle convocate in vista del 2° turno del 6 Nazioni contro l’Inghilterra che si giocherà a Twickenham (Londra), sabato 10 febbraio alle ore 15.30 (ora locale – 16.30 in Italia), subito dopo l’incontro della Nazionale maschile. Tutte confermate le 22 Azzurre che hanno preso parte al raduno per il match di esordio con la Francia.
Le ragazze della palla ovale si ritroveranno il giorno 8 febbraio presso l’impianto Sportivo G. Onesti Acqua Acetosa a Roma, dove svolgeranno il primo allenamento alle ore 14.30. La partenza per la capitale inglese avverrà venerdì 9 febbraio dall’aeroporto di Fiumicino, con il volo Alitalia delle 7.50 (AZ 200 RM), con arrivo previsto ad Heatrow alle ore 9.40. Di qui il trasferimento presso l’hotel Ibis Earls Court, Lillie Road, 47 (Tel. 0044 207 6100880). Nel primo pomeriggio le Azzurre svolgeranno una seduta di allenamento presso l’impianto del Rosslyn Park RFC dalle ore 13.30 alle ore 15.00 (ora locale).
